Pet Urns & Memorial Items
All sizing for urns is approximate and varies based on factors other than just body weight. If your urn of choice is not large enough based on the volume of your pet’s ashes, we will contact you and ask if you would like a larger size (if possible) or have the remaining ashes in one of our complimentary urns. All urns and memorial items are taxable.

Each ceramic urn is uniquely crafted by Seattle artisan John Ellefson. Ashes are placed directly within the urn (no plastic bag).

A ceramic urn looks and functions as a vase with a separate concealed urn vessel in the lower half. Ashes are secured in a plastic bag within the urn. Ceramic colors are white, grey, matte black, and pale blue. The wood disk joining the halves of the urn is available in light or dark wood. Engraving may be added to the disk for an additional fee of $40.

Sustainably made from the wood of mango trees that no longer produce fruit. The small urn holds a 4x6" photo, the medium and large a 5x7" photo. Urn can be displayed horizontally or vertically. The ashes will be seen when the photo is placed in the frame (the aftercare team can insert the photo if you bring it in when the ashes are picked up). Ashes are secured in a plastic bag within the urn.

The cedar is naturally sourced from felled cedar trees in Concrete, WA. Urn hand crafted in Anacortes, WA. There is a natural variation present in these urns (including. dark vs light panels). The urn may not be uniform in color. Lid fits snug on box. Ashes are secured in a plastic bag within the urn.

Handmade ceramic beads and sculptures with ash incorporated into the glaze. Artisan is based in Bend, OR.
Pet parents can order these items directly through the website here or the order can be facilitated by our team for no additional charge. If preferred, our aftercare team can separate a small amount of ash, package, and ship on behalf of the pet parent. The fee to facilitate this is $50 (including shipping).

An optional fur clipping will be collected by the doctor in the home for families electing communal cremation or self-directed aftercare. For families electing private cremation, the fur clipping will be handled by the aftercare team and returned with your pet’s ashes. Each fur clipping will be placed in a small glass jar with a cork top (~2" tall).
First fur clipping is complimentary and will be collected upon request.
Price: Additional fur clippings are $20 each.
An optional clay paw print will be done by the doctor in the home for families electing communal cremation or self-directed aftercare. The clay print will require baking by the pet parent. For families electing private cremation, the clay print will be handled by the aftercare team and returned with your pet’s ashes (the clay print will be baked and enclosed in a small linen bag).
The first clay paw print is complimentary and will be collected upon request.
Price: Additional clay paw prints are $40 each.
A unique paw or nose ink print may be taken by our aftercare team and returned to you in a glass frame.
