Who is Compassion 4 Paws?
Compassion 4 Paws is a mobile veterinary practice that focuses on comfort and end-of-life care for pets. We are committed to helping families and their beloved pets through the end-of-life journey, all within the comfort of their home. Our team of care coordinators and veterinarians work together, ensuring every interaction with the pet parent and their companion is full of compassion, support and respect.
After recognizing the need for compassionate in-home end-of-life services, Dr. Sara Render Hopkins founded Compassion 4 Paws in 2012. Her goal was to make this end-of-life chapter easier for pet parents, while giving their pet the loving and dignified end they deserved. Since then, our team has helped thousands of pet parents navigate their beloved pet’s end-of-life journey through our guidance, care, and expertise.
Great People Needed
Dr. Sara’s team of diverse, dedicated veterinarians have advanced training in acupuncture and hospice care and are continually furthering their knowledge to provide the highest quality of end-of-life care possible. We work hard to ensure each beloved companion has a dignified and peaceful passing. While the families provide their pets with a “good life”, we offer a “good death” at this ever-important time in their journey together.

I reached out to Dr Sara/C4P with a desire to specialize my career on the needs of senior pets and their families. In joining C4P, not only have I found a sense of purpose and deep fulfillment, but I have also found an amazing group of people who support the core values of kindness, compassion, and empathy that are essential to providing peace and comfort even in the most difficult of times.

I am forever grateful for the opportunity that C4P has given me to assist families with End of Life Care for their furry family members. I am lucky to work with an amazing team who are incredibly caring, loyal, and compassionate.
I joined Compassion 4 Paws to be a part of a team where everyone was dedicated to the care of pets and pet parents, at a time when they need it most. To work with such a compassionate, dedicated, and strong team is so fulfilling, and to be a part of the growth and development of a group like Compassion 4 Paws inspires me every day.
Plain and simple, our team is amazing. Not only do they care about the pets and people who we help, but they also care for, and support each other... they exemplify the meaning of “team”. I am truly grateful to work alongside these wonderful people.
