I am so pleased to introduce the newest Compassion 4 Paws team member, Dr. Allison Edwards. With Dr. Allison, we will be able to offer owners greater availability and flexibility when exploring end-of-life care for their beloved pets. She is finding, like Dr. Sara, this to be her passion.
Dr. Allison is a 2012 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University. Following graduation, she spent a year doing a small animal rotating internship at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver (the clinic of Animal Planet’s ‘Emergency Vets’ television fame). Dr. Allison then returned to her native Seattle area where she is proud to be a 3rd generation Seattleite. She has been working in emergency medicine over the last three years and is looking forward to switching gears and helping families with in-home hospice and end-of-life care.
In her free time, Dr. Allison enjoys running, hiking, traveling and pretty much any other activity that gets her outside. She particularly enjoys spending time with her new pup, Henry.
